Heather
Flick is a pioneer of On Demand General Counsel™ services, practicing business and corporate law with an emphasis on M&A, financing, corporate
governance, contracts, general business advice, compliance and intellectual property licensing and protection. She represents early stage companies in all aspects of
entity formation,
operations and exit strategy – “From Idea to IPO”™. She also advises
candidates and committees on political and election law.
Heather
worked
in two White House administrations and has held several
corporate board seats including Citizens Bancorp, Inc. (acquired by Community First Bankshares, Inc. (ticker: CFBX) now BNP Paribas) and Titlebid.com
throughout their acquisitions, and she is currently on the board of directors of
consumer health products and services company Sleep Science Partners,
Inc. and two non-profit corporations.
She has lived in Beijing (where she studied at China University of Politics and Law), Hong Kong, D.C., L.A., Chicago and San Francisco where her commentary has appeared in the New York Times and Financial Times, the San Francisco Chronicle, the Marin Independent Journal, the Sacramento Bee and on KRON and KTVU. She also wrote a "Reality Check" column for TraderDaily.com and Dealmaker.com. She is on the Board of Directors of Sleep Science Partners, Inc., The St. Francis Yacht Club and is serving her third term as Board of Governors Secretary of the Republican National Lawyers Association. An avid sailor, she competes in international grand prix regattas for both Hong Kong and Chicago based teams.
